An Interview with Lexie

Interview

Struggling for inspiration tonight. I decided I was going to interview my daughter Lexie, Aged 9 and see what she came up with. I have decided to share them with you.

Hey, lex I want to ask you a few questions darling, come here. Aww, dad do I have to, I am playing. Yep come here scruffalo. At this point, she comes and sits on my knee.

Q. What is the best thing about your life?

A. The best thing about my life is the fact that we are able to go out to fun places like Brocks Hill (A free country park an hour from us).

Q. Why do you enjoy that?

A. We get to spend time together when you are fun (Referring to my PTSD) I like living with you but some times you don’t play because your thinking or you’re trying to sort everything out all the time.

Q. What is your happiest memory?

A. going to Wicksteed park because it’s amazing. I love the rollercoaster

Q. What’s your saddest memory

A. When mummy took us and wouldn’t give us back

Q. What can I do to make me a better daddy?

A. That is a very tricky one because everyone at school thinks you’re the best dad in the world and keep telling me I am lucky.
